Jobs Shared is a free online platform designed to help meeting your job share partner easier. A bit like online dating. Given that we're 80 years off gender equality in the workforce at the rate we're going, we need to start providing tangible solutions, and my belief is that normalising flexible work is one of the key ingredients. It's not just about helping women find part-time work after they have kids, it's about helping them back into their careers. Allowing women and men of all ages to continue their careers while offering flexibility when they need it most. If companies need full time cover for a job, that is completely understandable, but job sharing solves that problem. I want to see a gender equality in my lifetime not in 80 years time, and that's not going to happen if companies only think about flexibility in terms of mums.
