IMPACTER scores are calculated depending on the degree to which a respondent performs better or worse than the industry average on their assessment – which includes a bunch of quantitative questions, many of which are multiple choice.
Averages are largely derived from what’s considered by DEI experts as best practice and national
benchmarking.
Data sources used in national benchmarking include: Australian Bureau of Statistics data to obtain ratios:
• Voluntary turnover by gender
• Gender pay gaps
• Leadership Gender Diversity
• The broad areas of diversity
Workplace Gender Equality Agency data to obtain ratios on:
• Paid parental leave
• Governing bodies
As the IMPACTER community grows, our scoring methodology will also take into account organisational insights.
